(spring semester, 2023) Information Guide for Admitted Graduate Students (1st round)

1. Tuition Payment: The admission will be revoked if the accepted applicants do not pay the tuition fee within the deadline. (Full scholarship applicants must visit the bank with the bill to complete the registration process.)
a. Payment Period: January 9, 2023 ~ January 11, 2023 17:00 (Korean Time)
b. Tuition Bill: Print out the tuition bill from the admission result announcement website during the payment period and transfer the fee into the applicant's virtual payment account on the bill until the due date. (NH Bank, Korea)
* In case of remittance from overseas, please pay 2~3 days ahead by considering the remitting period.
2. Certificate of Admission
The certificate of admission will be issued to accepted applicants who complete the tuition payment.
a. Issue Date: The end of Jan. 2023
b. How to receive
- Residents out of Korea
The Office of International Affairs will send the Certificate of Admission by EMS to the address on your application form. Please let the office know if your address has changed.
- Residents in Korea
Please pick up your Certificate of Admission from the Office of International Affairs before going to the Jeju Immigration Office for visa status change.
◎ If the original copies of Degree and Transcript of final attended institutions (Apostille, official confirmation from Korean consulates or embassies, and certificate confirmation report in China’s case) are not submitted, JNU will NOT be able to issue out the Certificate of Admission.
3. Visa Application
a. Overseas residents
1) Successful applicants residing overseas have to apply for their visa in the Korean Embassies in their own countries agter receiving the certificate of Admission.
2) Required Document: Certificate of Admission, Business Registration, etc. requested from the diplomatic office.
* Please inquire at the Korean embassy in your own countries about requirements ofr visa application in advance because they can be different depending on countries.
b. Domestic Residents
1) Prepare the documents below and apply to visit the Jeju Immigration Office.
2) Before visiting the office, make a reservation on Hi-Korea website (https://hikorea.go.kr/Main.pt)
3) Note : In case of changing the visa type(D-4→D-2 or D-10→D-2), change of visa should be completed before the start date of semester

4. Student Dormitory Application & Payment
a. Application period and dormitory fee will be announced
b. The Office of International Affairs will apply for the on-campus student dormitory on the applicants’ behalf according to their application form.
c. Applying for dormitory through the office of International Affairs will be only available of double room in Female Dorm 5 for female and double room in Male Dorm 4 . Except for these building, students should apply for other Dorms on the student dormitory website individually.
d. The student dormitory applicants are required to pay the dormitory fee within the deadline. Otherwise the dormitory registration will be cancelled.
※ There is no cooking facility in Jeju National University Student Dormitory. Students who want to have a meal can use the dormitory cafeteria.
5. Note
The accepted applicants should refer to every notice posted on the OIA website (http://intl.jejunu.ac.kr) including information on visa application and entry procedures so that they can enter ROK before the first day of classes on March 2nd, 2023.
