코로나19에 따른 2020학년도 제2학기 제주대학교
신입학‧복학‧교환 학생 입국 절차 안내
□ 입국 준비사항 안내
◦ 제주대학교 2020학년도 제2학기 시작일: 2020. 9. 1.(화)
◦ 자가격리 기간: 입국일로부터 만14일이 되는 날(입국일+14)의 12:00까지 격리
◦ 비자 발급
- 본국의 대한민국 영사관(대사관)을 방문하여 신청
- 국제교류본부 제공 서류: 표준입학허가서, 제주대학교 사업자등록증
- 비자신청 필요서류: 대한민국 영사관(대사관) 홈페이지 확인 또는 전화 문의
◦ 항공 예약 및 입국서류 준비
- 인천공항 도착, 제주공항 도착 시간 및 항공 국제교류본부로 통보
- 표준입학허가서 및 자가격리시설(거주지) 확인 서류(기숙사 입주확인서 or
임대차계약서) 준비
※ 제주대학교 학생생활관 집중보호동 이용 안내
◦ 격리기간: 입소한 날로부터 14일 간 (2020.9.8.(화)까지 도착(입도)하지 않으면 입주 불가) ◦ 격리시설: 1인 1실(개별 욕실) ◦ 격리비용: 1인당 613,000원(1일 3식, 간식, 물, 세면도구 등 제공) ◦ 납부방법: 추후안내(사전 송금 필요) ◦ 유의사항: 코로나 진단검사 결과 ‘음성’ 판정인 경우에도 입국 후 14일간 자가격리는 필수 |

Immigration Procedure for New/Returning/Exchange Students to
Jeju National University for the 2020 Fall Semester in the Aftermath of
Covid-19 Situation
1. Starting Date of JNU 2020 Fall Semester: Tuesday, September 1, 2020
2. Arrival Period: Monday, August 3 – Tuesday, September 8, 2020
(※ Only for those who are entering the Student Dormitory)
※Those who are planning to reside off campus must consider the 14 days quarantine period to enter the
country.
3. Quarantine Period: 14 days from arrival (Arrival date+14), and quarantined until 12:00 p.m.
4. Arrival Preparation
<Necessary Visa> D-2
◦ Apply through the Republic of Korea’s consulate/embassy within the student’s home country by actually
visiting them
◦ Documents provided by Office of International Affairs: Certificate of Admission, JNU Business License
◦ Documents needed for visa application: Check the Republic of Korea’s consulate/embassy website or call to
confirm
<Flight Reservation>
◦ Reserve flights that arrive before the date of 9. 8. 2020 (Tue) by 12:00 p.m. and notify the Office of
International Affairs
(Must inform all flight details to Incheon and Jeju Airport)
*Departure/Arrival airport+time as well as flight number
<Confirmation of Self-quarantine Location (Residence); Confirmation letter from the dormitory or lease contract>
◦ New undergraduate‧graduate students, exchange students: JNU Intensive quarantine dormitory building (Block D of Building number 5)
◦ Returning students: JNU Intensive quarantine dormitory building (Block D of Building number 5) or off campus
residences (single rooms)
★Using the JNU Intensive quarantine dormitory building
◦ Qurantine period: 14 days from the date of checking into the dormitory ※ If you do not arrive by 9. 8. 2020 (Tue), it would be impossible for you to check in ◦ Quarantine facilities: One single en suite room per person ◦ Cost: 613,000 Korean won per person (inclusive of 3 meals per day, snacks, water, toiletries and other basic necessities) ◦ Payment method: To be notified later (Expected to be a prior wire transfer method) ◦ Important notice: Even if your Covid-19 results are negative, the 14 day quarantine period is mandatory |
